SHERRARDSWOOD and Birchwood Rangers Stripes Under-11s snatched a late 3-2 win over Potters Bar Crusaders.

Kachi Njoku, Rangers' man-of-the-match, hit a last-gasp winner just after Crusaders had made it 2-2.

In the first half Rangers had taken the lead when Njoku and Peter Wood combined down the right to fashion a chance that Njoku converted.

Early in the second period Crusaders levelled from a corner that Stripes failed to defend from the left.

With 20 minutes to go both teams pushed looking to take the lead.

Then came the amazing finale.

With just three minutes left Njoku gave Stripes the lead after being played through by Billy Newby, only for Potters Bar to hit back equalising.

In the final minute, however, Njoku slide one home to get his hat-trick and win it for Birchwood.
