POTTERS Bar all but secured their Ryman League Division One North status with a second-half comeback to draw 2-2 with Wivenhoe Town last night (Tuesday).

Striker Sam Adejokun hit a last-minute equaliser for Bar in a game the Dragons were hoping to win as they battle to get out of the bottom two.

A poor first half display saw the Scholars concede twice at Parkfield.

Firstly, Adam Hampson caught the home defence napping before scoring and then the unmarked Scott Woodcock netted following a corner.

Steve Browne's team came out fighting after the break and soon pulled one back through Serge Mokofo.

Despite dominating the second 45 minutes, the hosts had to wait until the dying minutes for Adejokun to net the equaliser and rescue a hugely important draw.
