An Ollie Richardson hat-trick helped WGC’s U25 side continue their good run to take them third in the table, after a 3-0 victory over Buckingham Athletic.

After an almost two-hour journey, WGC, lacking Harry Budge and Bradley Dimmock, produced another good away performance.

Nathan Isherwood played his first game at centre back and helped his teammates keep their third clean sheet of the season.

Richardson opened the scoring on 22 minutes after superb work from Reggie Ross and the pair combined again for the second.

Richardson, who also had a goal disallowed for offside, went on to complete his hat-trick early in the second-half, finishing off his own solo run.

Manager Russ Giblin said: “It’s fantastic seeing our players scoring regularly.

“Another clean sheet also shows we are looking stronger and stronger at the back.”
