Football may not be coming home just yet but it is coming back – with Potters Bar Town set for a trip to Sussex to kick-off their historic Bostik Premier Division season.

Burgess Hill Town, who escaped relegation last year, will provide the opponents for the Scholars after their promotion to step three of the non-league pyramid for the first time in their history.

That match at the Green Elephants Stadium is on August 11.

Bar’s first home game is against Kingstonian three days later and they will be back at the Pakex on Saturday, August 18, for the visit of Whitehawk, who were relegated from the Vanarama National League South last term.

Non League Day on October 13 sees Town at home to Lewes while the fixtures before Christmas and New Year are away to Haringey Borough and at home to Enfield respectively.

The Scholars round off the season with a home game against Tonbridge Angels on April 27.
