Potters Bar Town were beaten 1-0 by Daventry Town last night (Tuesday) as their search for a first goal of 2014 continues.

Jack Friend’s Scholars have played five Calor League Division One Central games since the turn of the year and are yet to find the back of the net after drawing blanks in the four defeats and goalless draw.

Daventry defender Ollie Wilkinson’s first half volley proved enough to seal the points for the visitors to the Lamex Stadium.

Potters Bar are back in action tomorrow (Thursday) night as they host a Watford XI in the Herts Senior Cup.
