Potters Bar Town’s preparations for life in step three have begun with the release of their pre-season friendlies.

The Scholars will be playing in the Isthmian Premier League for the first time in their history following their promotion this season.

And before the new league programme kicks-off they have a number of pre-season games to get their teeth into.

The biggest of them will see Premier League Watford send their U23 development side to the Pakex on July 31.

Other home games will see the visits of Chesham United and Beaconsfield on July 24 and July 28 respectively.

The away games start on Saturday, July 7, with Bar sending squads to both Broadfields and Southall.

That is followed by trips to Uxbridge, Aveley, Edgware and Harrow Borough.

The final friendly is on August 4 at Biggleswade FC.

The Scholars league campaign starts on August 11 with fixtures due out around July 13.
