POTTERS Bar Town were beaten 4-2 away to derby rivals Enfield Town last night (Tuesday) after they had taken an early two-goal lead in the Ryman League Division One North clash.

The Scholars flew out of the blocks and leading scorer Tom Pett hit the opener after good work by strike partner Anton Agdomar.

That lead was then doubled as Josh Urquhart headed home following a free-kick in the opening 15 minutes of the clash played at Cheshunt’s Theobalds Lane where Enfield are currently groundsharing ahead of their move to The Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Donkey Lane, Enfield.

However, the Towners got back on level terms with Jon Moore’s brace.

Former Bar player Adam Wallace beat keeper Matt Bennett to the ball to put the home side ahead and Enfield sealed the points from the penalty spot with Liam Hope netting after Bennett had tripped him in the area.
