POTTERS Bar's scheduled home tie against Witham Town tomorrow (Saturday) has been postponed.

The Parkfield pitch is under several inches of snow at the moment, and with the torrential weather conditions set to continue, it was decided to call the game off.

Secretary Alan Evans said: "The game might have been on had the snow not fallen last night and today.

"The players are chomping at the bit, so it's very disappointing the game has been called off."

It will come as a disappointment to new Bar boss Adam Lee as he attempts to bring some stability to the Ryman League Division One North club.

The Scholars are next in action when they travel to take on Old Owens in the Potters Bar Charity Cup on Tuesday night, weather permitting!
