POTTERS Bar Town twice led league leaders Aveley on Saturday but eventually fell to a 3-2 defeat away in Essex.

Former Miller Sam Adejokun put the Scholars ahead within the first 10 minutes when he tapped home.

For the hosts Neil Richmond levelled as he tucked in a cross from ex-Bar winger Junior Dadson.

Before the break Town went 2-1 up through defender Jonathan Spencer.

The scores were tied again as Joel Barnett netted a penalty after he was fouled in the area.

All three points were claimed by Aveley as Richmond volleyed the winner, and his second of the day, with just over 10 minutes left to play.

Full report and reaction to follow.
