A NORWEGIAN Under-13 girls' football team from Bergen flew into London for a visit to Panshanger FC.
The Scandinavian girls spent their day watching an English professional men's team and then they donned their own Norway kits to play Panshanger Whites U13 Girls.
Panshanger FC was chosen from 40 clubs to stage this match and team manager Kerry Reed said it was with great honour for her to accept the role as host.
The teams played three 20 minute games, all of which were competitive but played in good spirit.
Unfortunately, Norway managed to claim wins in all three games but both teams played excellent football and were ambassadors to the up-and-coming girls' side of football.
Panshanger laid on traditional English tea, cakes and biscuits for their visitors afterwards, whilst the girls swapped email addresses.
Referee Karen Blease would like to thank Panshanger Youth committee members Amber Loft, Jodie Henderson and Jack Reed for acting as match officials on the day.
The club are looking forward to the return match in Norway, where they will be looking to exact revenge for the three defeats handed out by the Norwegian side.
