Joel Norris’ header gave Welwyn Garden City a 1-0 win over FC Broxbourne Boro on Saturday as they secured their sixth win from six SSML Division One games.

In what was their toughest league test of the season so far, Norris 47th minute downward header was to prove the difference.

Adam Fisher’s Citizens are fourth in the table with six victories from six having scored 22 goals and conceding just once.

WGC are in Challenge Trophy action on Wednesday night as they host SSML Premier Division side Colney Heath.
