ENFIELD Town won the Boxing Day derby against Potters Bar Town 3-2 in the Ryman League Division One North.

The match was the Scholars' first home Boxing Day fixture since joining step four of the non- league game three seasons ago.

Bar took the lead from the penalty spot in the first half after Junior Dadson had been fouled.

Bryan Hammatt equalised for the visitors, only for Duane Jackman to put Potters Bar back ahead. Enfield levelled again before half-time, this time through Simon Tickner.

The second period was a much closer affair as both sides looked for the deciding goal.

Unfortunately for Bar, it was their rivals who nicked it.

Andy Jones struck the winner to gives Enfield the points.
