WELWYN Garden City's newest youth football club, King George FC, have found a home. The organisation has agreed terms with Finesse Leisure Partnership to use the facilities at the King George V Playing Fields for training and home matches. The club is c

WELWYN Garden City's newest youth football club, King George FC, have found a home.

The organisation has agreed terms with Finesse Leisure Partnership to use the facilities at the King George V Playing Fields for training and home matches.

The club is currently in the process of looking for players and volunteers to form Under-6 to Under-18 teams for the upcoming 2009/10 football season.

King George FC will be holding a fun open day on May 16 to celebrate its launch. Players can register their interest in advance via the club website at http://www.kinggeorgefc.co.uk no matter what their ability.

Boys or girls who will be aged five to 17 on August 31, 2009 are invited to join the club which will offer training from FA qualified coaches who are fully CRB checked to work with youngsters.

King George aim to provide football opportunities to all local children, boys and girls, regardless of ability.
