DADS Army Reserves beat FC Rangers Reserves 3-0 in the Chairman's Cup Group Three on Sunday.

Glen Makin netted a hat-trick for Dads Army, in what was their first game in two months.

They found themselves deservedly 1-0 up at half-time thanks to a Makin header.

In the second half the Army created numerous chances with Lacey and Cross both going close to increasing the lead.

The cup tie was put to bed when Makin got his second after good work from Webb.

Makin completed his hat-trick with a coolly taken finish to ensure the victory.

The back five of Shearer, Amos, Woodford, Smith and Meadows were outstanding.

Their performance ensured the Army got their first clean sheet for six games.
