CITY caretaker manager Dave Lewis was pleased with the point following his side's 2-2 draw at home to St Margaretsbury on Saturday.

He said: "It was a good performance. They (St Margaretsbury) didn't score from open play, so we were unlucky not to have got the three points today.

"We have a good team now, and I feel every player involved today had a good game. They gave it their all."

WGC host Oxhey Jets in the Herts Charity Shield semi-final tomorrow night (Thursday), and manager Lewis believes they have a very real chance of getting to the final to face Tring Athletic.

"I can't see why we are in the position we are to be honest," said Lewis.

"We are very confident going into the game against Oxhey, although we know it will be a tough game.

"We certainly won't underestimate our opponents, but I believe we have an excellent chance of progressing to the final."

WGC host Oxhey Jets at Herns Lane tomorrow night (Thursday) with a 7.45pm kick-off and face them again in the SML Premier Division on Saturday.
