LEMSFORD Youth Under-10s Leopards recorded a 1-0 home victory after a closely fought game against Welwyn Pegasus Royals at Rowans. Lemsford broke the deadlock when James Lawrence passed for Matthew Goodhall to bundle the ball home to take a deserved lead.

The hosts dug in and showed their determination when both Ellis McDermott and Theo Demont returned to the field.

In the last minute of normal time Lemsford had a fright when a header from Pegasus was glanced narrowly wide.

The result sees Lemsford finish second in the White Division of the MHRML.
