Lemsford Youth Under-7s enjoyed a morning of fun and football against local rivals Welwyn Pegasus.

The Cobra’s kicked off first and goals were seen from both sides with Marin Hyseni scoring twice.

There was some great goalkeeping by Sam Jordan and superb ball control by Francis Englebright.

Ewan Englebright dazzled with his skillful midfield play and Sammy Price made some excellent passes

There were also some brilliant pressure passes seen from Tyler Shumba while Henry Davey made great space, and worked the ball like a pro.

Next came the Pythons who started out strong with Ben Herbert breaking forward with goal after goal.

New kid Luke Heathcote was a natural with some well won tackles, Ben Johnson tirelessly defended his goal and Matthew Cotterell protected the back alongside him.

Toby Langston had a fearless stint in goal and Harry Milton caused havoc, with George Scutt maintaining some heroic efforts in midfield.

Scores were even at the final whistle with both teams showing great sportsmanship.
