HATFIELD'S Onslow St Audrey's School suffered a last-gasp defeat in a regional sixth form Futebol de Salao tournament.

The team from Times Territory went down 4-2 in the regional play-off of the Leeds Met Carnegie FDS Cup against their counterparts from Hertford's Richard Hale School.

The first round of 5-a-side games at the Hatfield Leisure Centre resulted with three teams separated by just one goal.

It came down to the final match with the Richard Hale team playing an inexperienced side from Onslow, captained by Brett Shipp.

Two early goals from the Hertford school looked to have settled the outcome.

However, Onslow came back with two excellent moves to make it 2-2.

The Hertford side scored twice in the last minute to make the final score 4-2.

Richard Hale have now booked their place at the national finals in Leeds next month.

They will be looking to take the title of Leeds Met Carnegie FDS Cup champions.
