Action from Codicote v Dunstable Town

CODICOTE gave higher division opponents Dunstable Town a real scare, but in the end were beaten 3-2 in the SSML Challenge Trophy final on Monday.

Division One Codicote were just over 10 minutes away from lifting the trophy, but unbeaten Premier Division champions Town drew level and hit a late winner.

Craig Arnott and Kane Dougherty had put Codicote into a 2-0 lead, but Dunstable showed their figting spirit to fight back, and eventually win the trophy courtesy of a 3-2 triumph.

Graham Buchanan scored the first for Town, and a penalty and a Lee Roach effort saw the Bedfordshire side victorious.
