Hatfield Town finally got their Spartan South Midlands Division One campaign underway on Saturday with a resounding win over Arlesey Town Reserves at the Gosling Stadium.

Terry Caswell’s brace and solo efforts from Ryan North, Jimmy Cook and Bruce Tahon sealed all three points just four days after the Blueboys had seen their previous opening game abandoned after a horrible injury to James Millard.

Kev Pearman’s men travel to early league leaders Chesham United Reserves tonight (Wednesday) looking for a second successive win.
