HATFIELD Town's route to the Herts Senior Centenary Cup final has not been an easy one - except for their first round match.

Trevor Lloyd's side defeated Bedmond S&S 11-0 away in that tie.

Next up was a tricky trip to Bovingdon, which Town eventually won on penalties 4-3 after a 4-4 draw after extra time.

Hertford Heath provided the opposition in the third round, and again the sides couldn't be separated after 90 minutes.

However, Hatfield proved too strong in the extra 30 minutes and triumphed 5-2 in a game made famous by the whistling parrot!

Saturday's semi-final at Park Street Village always looked difficult, and Lloyd is delighted to have made the final after another extra-time victory.
