Hatfield Town completed a miserable midweek with a 5-0 away defeat to Hillingdon Borough last night (Thursday).

At half-time Neil Ewing’s side were very much in the SSML Premier Division game at 1-0 down courtesy of a S Sharples goal after 28 minutes.

But the tide changed in the second period, and Hillingdon hit the net another four times to seal an emphatic victory, including three goals in the last six minutes.

J Sharples (two), B Dunkwu, and R Laney sealed the victory.

On Tuesday night the Blueboys crashed to an 8-0 away loss to Harefield United.
