HATFIELD Town have had their third successive scheduled match postponed.

The home game against Stony Stratford Town, which was due to be played tonight (Wednseday), has fallen foul of the weather with the Herns Lane pitch deemed unplayable by match officials.

This adds to the games against Park Street Village and local rivals Harpenden Town having being called off in the last week.

It brings an un-warranted hat-trick of postponements for Blueboys boss Trevor Lloyd in his quest to construct a winning run.

Town are next in action when they travel to take on Park Street Village in the Herts Senior Centenary Trophy - but yet again the weather will have a say in this!
