HATFIELD Town boss Trevor Lloyd is set to welcome back Trevor Golder and Richard Cooke for the visit of Winslow United tomorrow (Saturday).

The duo missed the 5-2 Herts Senior Centenary Trophy victory over Hertford Heath last weekend through injury and will be welcome additions for Lloyd as he prepares for the visit of the Buckinghamshire side.

Lloyd said: "We beat them 2-0 away earlier this season in what was a really superb performance that day.

"They are a direct and strong side, who have a useful striker; they are certainly a team who play to their strengths.

"But I am confident we can get the three points on Saturday.

"We have been a bit inconsistent this season so we have to look to string some wins together."

The Blueboys' last Spartan South Midlands League Division One game was the 4-2 away defeat to New Bradwell St Peter, and Lloyd's side now find themselves in fifth place.

However, the Town boss believes there is still a long way to go in the season, and fully expects his side to keep up challenging at the top.

He added: "We have got games in hand over most of the teams above us so we can still close that gap.

"But perhaps it would be better to just have the wins at this stage and then we can see where we are."

The game is a 3pm kick-off at Herns Lane, WGC, tomorrow (Saturday).
