HATFIELD Town are not for the first time preparing for a Herts Senior Centenary Trophy semi-final tie against Park Street Village.
That's because Blueboys boss Trevor Lloyd will be hoping it's third time lucky following two postponements of the tie already the last two Saturdays.
Town's league matches against Harpenden and Stony Stratford have also fallen victim to the weather in recent weeks because of the snow.
The winners of Hatfield's visit to PSV on Saturday will face cup holders Hoddesdon Town in the final of the county competition.
The Lilywhites beat London Lions 3-2 after extra time in their semi-final clash at the weekend.
In recent weeks Town manager Trevor Lloyd has challenged his players to put together a winning run and add a more consistent edge to his side's results.
But the talented Blueboys outfit have had little chance to act upon their manager's wishes with the weather rearing its ugly head.
Lloyd said: "We can't really grumble too much because all the teams have been in the same boat.
"But our training has been hard work when we have known that the games will probably be called off."
A number of first teamers got some competitive action on Saturday for the second string in their game against Royston Town Reserves in the fourth round of the Challenge Trophy.
Jack Evans and Rhys Lawrence got some valuable match time as they return from slight injuries.
A slight concern for Lloyd will be Trevor Golder, who picked up a knock in the 3-2 defeat to the Crows.
Hatfield are scheduled to face London Colney tonight (Tuesday).
