LEMSFORD conceded two late goals to lose 2-1 at home to Baldock Town Letchworth in the league on Saturday.

It was the Times Territory side's second consecutive loss after they were beaten 3-0 away by Bovingdon the previous weekend.

The village side took a first-half advantage against Baldock at Welwyn Playing Fields.

Luke Baverstock found a way past keeper Jack Farmer to open the scoring.

After the break neither side managed to find net going into the dying stages of the match.

This has been a dangerous time for Lemsford in numerous games this season.

They have been prone to giving away late goals and this is exactly what happened again.

Baldock midfielder Gareth Grant struck in the 86th minute to level the game.

With the bit between their teeth, the away team went on to snatch victory in the last minute of the encounter.

Once again Grant found the back of the net to claim the three points.

Craig Attfield's side are now 12th in the league table with 24 points from the 18 games they have played.

This Saturday Lemsford will be hoping to get back to winning ways in the league when they entertain Standon & Puckeridge, weather permitted!
