WELWYN Garden City's newest youth football club, King George FC, has decided the future is orange.

For the upcoming 2009/2010 season, all of its teams will be playing in a new orange and black kit.

The club, based at King George V Playing Fields, have just been awarded a £400 kit grant from the Football Foundation that has enabled them to place their first order.

The club is also currently in the process of looking for players and volunteers to form Under-6 to Under-18 teams for the 2009/10 football season and will be holding a fun open day on May 16, 2009 to celebrate its launch.

Players can register their interest in advance via the club website at www.kinggeorgefc.co.uk no matter what their ability.

The club is open to boys or girls who will be aged five to 17 on August 31, 2009 and will offer training from FA qualified coaches who are fully CRB checked to work with youngsters.
