POTTERS Bar Town will have a new assistant manager next season in the shape of Ashley Fisk.

The former Cuffley and Whitewebbs boss will assist Adam Lee in the Scholars' dugout after the departure of former number two Mike Smee.

Of his new right hand man, Lee said: "He has done well with both Cuffley and Whitewebbs and wanted to try his luck at a higher level of football."

Lee knows Fisk from their time together at Wingate & Finchley.

"Ashley is a larger than life character," said Lee. "Also he is local and that's what I want to bring in on and off the field."

Ironically one of Fisk's final games in charge of Cuffley came as they lost the Potters Bar Charity Cup final to Old Owens at Parkfield earlier this month.

Despite losing out in that competition Fisk ended his time in charge with a bigger prize as Cuffley finished as Herts Senior County League Division One champions.
