Welwyn Garden City are through to the next stage of the FA Cup following their 3-1 home victory over Haverhill Borough.

Jason Caswell, Craig Arnott and Dave Parkinson were on target on Saturday for Adam Fisher’s men who will meet Borough again in the FA Vase first round qualifying on September 5.

WGC will next face Ryman League Division One North side Waltham Abbey, again at Herns Lane, in the FA Cup preliminary round on August 29.

It was not so good news for Codicote as they exited at the extra preliminary round stage following a 3-1 loss in Essex to Southend Manor.
