Ex-Arsenal player Jernade Meade hit an extra-time winner for Hadley as they knocked Potters Bar Town out of the Herts Senior Cup.

Meade, who started a Champions League game against Olympiakos for the Gunners in 2012, struck in the 117th minute on Tuesday after the score was 1-1 following normal time.

SSML Premier Division Hadley, who groundshare the Scholars’ Pakex Stadium ground, took an 80th minute lead through Dom Petrucci.

However, Dipo Akinyemi levelled in the second minute of injury time for the Southern League Division One Central hosts which sent the match to extra-time.

Just as the tie looked to be heading to a penalty shootout, Meade popped up with the winner.
