TWO goals in the opening five minutes settled Panshanger Yellows Under-9s into their stride in their local derby with Gosling Youth Whites on Saturday.

The Yellows eventually eased to a comfortable 4-0 victory in the derby.

Two goals from Nick Rosser, the second after excellent midfield work by Charlie Evans, topped off a commanding midfield performance from last season's player of the year.

Daniel Bishop continued his excellent form with a strong defensive show and Kieran Butler switched easily from his usual attacking role into defence in the second half.

To their credit, Gosling showed glimpses of quality football and have clearly improved from the first time the teams met back in early October, when they succumbed to a 6-1 defeat.
