DADS Army Reserves kicked off their first ever game with a 5-2 win against FC Rangers Reserves in Welwyn Hatfield Sunday League Division Three.

The side's first goal by Jay Jefcoate was a contender for goal of the season with a volley from 30 yards after only a minute.

Dads Army played some good football but went into the break at 2-2.

The second half started like the first with Carl Webb beating three players and cracking in a superb shot to make it 3-2.

Jay Jefcoate added a fourth and Jez Lunney wrapped up victory with a coolly taken finish to make it a winning start for Dads Army.
