BRADMORE Rovers have reached the last four of the WHSFL President's Cup after a 3-1 win against Doctors Tonic.

It wasn't until midway through the first half that Rovers took the lead on Sunday.

Ryan Smith made a tackle, the ball fell to Derren Thompson and he played in Lee Numan, who finished to make it 1-0.

Bradmore continued to pile the pressure on, while Tonic could only put together the odd attack.

It was 2-0 when Thompson played a ball to Smith, who dribbled into the Tonic box and calmly slotted past the keeper.

After the break Tonic looked for a lifeline and stepped up their game.

The match got very physical with many players being booked for rash challenges and the ref struggling to control the game as tempers flared.

Tonic made it 2-1 after a corner was met by a free header.

Bradmore realised the game wasn't over and had to improve their play.

Soon they put themselves 3-1 up. Joseph's shot was parried by the keeper only to fall for Numan at the far post who couldn't miss.

Rovers saw out the game to book their place in the semi-finals.
