Herts Senior County League Premier Division

Metropolitan Police Bushey 2 Hatfield Town 2

CAPTAIN Gary Coley got Hatfield out of jail against Metropolitan Police Bushey yesterday.

The Town skipper grabbed a last-gasp equaliser to secure Trevor Lloyd's men a share of the Premier Division spoils.

Hatfield looked to be heading for defeat in the top-of-the-table clash between the division's leading two clubs until Coley stunned the Police squad with his timely intervention.

Colney snatched a vital point for Town with a flying header in the dying moments.

The 2-2 draws leaves Town nine points adrift of Met Police in second place with two games in hand. The two clubs have still to play each other again.

Hatfield are at home to Whitewebbs next Saturday and visit Standon & Puckeridge on February 9.
