Codicote's upturn in fortunes continued as they made it four Spartan South Midlands League Division One games without defeat.

They had trailed at half-time at Langford to a Kyle Watson goal but a determined second-half showing brought its rewards when Ben L’Honore struck a deserved equaliser from the penalty spot.

The Cod striker also saw a header rocket into the roof of the net but it was ruled out for offside.

However, the visitors to Forde Park were also indebted to goalkeeper Bradleys Heaps for a fine save in the closing stages to preserve the equality.

The run of two wins and two draws has lifted them up to 18th position and they are back in action tonight (Tuesday) when they host Winslow United.

Saturday’s game takes them to Enfield Borough.

Hatfield Town are also on their travels on Saturday when they play Amersham Town, the side directly above them in the table.

The Blue Boys game against Harefield United this week was postponed.
