Codicote ended their Spartan South Midlands League Division One campaign with a 2-1 defeat against Crawley Green at Barton Rovers FC.

The game marked the end of player-manager Liam Errington’s tenure in charge of Cod, but it will not be one fondly remembered by the departing boss.

Leslie Armah grabbed Cod’s goal but strikes from Stuart Strange and Tom Barnett allowed Green to do the league double over their opponents and also leapfrog them into a final standing of seventh place.
