WELWYN Garden City play their biggest game of the season so far this Saturday as they host Bedfont & Feltham FC in the FA Vase first round proper (3pm).

The in-form Citizens top SSML Division One and will be facing a side who are seventh in the Combined Counties League Division One.

WGC boss Adam Fisher has called on the town’s residents to head to Herns Lane this Saturday to cheer on his side.

He said: “Obviously it’s a big day for the club and we want people to come and support in force.

“We are on a 13 game unbeaten streak and have won nine on the spin. Their support will be crucial against a tough Bedfont side.

“The further we go the more quedos the club and the town get.

“It’s been great to see people coming back through the gate and the players will continue to provide a team and club that the town can be proud of.”
