POTTERS Bar Town manager Steve Browne has targeted another 10 points to ensure his club's Ryman League Division One North status.
The Scholars sit just above the relegation zone and are currently enduring a poor run of results.
After their fourth defeat on the trot, Browne is staying positive.
"We have to make sure we get enough points to be in the division next year," he said.
"We need 10 or 11 points, you look and think where are we going to get them but we will remain positive."
His side have not scored for four games and have struggled to put a string of good results together all season.
Bar have played reasonably well but failed to find the net regularly at one end while letting in soft goals at the other.
"The performance was not too bad on Saturday but again it's the same old story," said Browne after a 2-0 home defeat to Bury Town at the weekend.
"It's difficult, you know where you want to strengthen but to get those sorts of players costs a lot of money.
"You have to be positive and look at the pluses. We know what the problems are and have tried different players and people from other clubs but they have not worked.
"I take full responsibility for the players I have the signed and the team I put out.
"We have a small side and tactically I have got it wrong. We have quick players but they have found it tough physically.
"I have to take it on the chin and look to put it right," he said.
Browne takes his side to Northwood on Saturday as they look to get back to winning ways.
