GREAT Wakering Rovers travel to Potters Bar on Saturday and Scholars boss Steve Browne expects a difficult game.

Browne will come up against some familiar faces at Parkfield this weekend as he knows Rovers boss Iain O'Connell and managed their striker Martin Tuohy at Aveley last season.

Browne said: "I know Iain very well and all his teams battle and work hard.

"They have a boy up front that played for me last year Martin Tuohy that will always score goals as he's a good goalscorer."

Earlier in the season the two sides played out a goalless draw, so Browne knows his team will be in for a close encounter.

"It will be difficult, we played down their end and drew 0-0 and I thought we deserved a little bit more out of the game than we got, but it will be a tough game," he said.

"If we compete and if we can keep a clean sheet, which will be a big ask as we have not kept one in a while, we have got half a chance."

The Scholars lost at Ilford 2-1 last weekend.
