MANAGER Trevor Lloyd was delighted to be back in the dugout for Hatfield Town's 1-1 draw at home to London Colney.

Whilst the former Town centre half was disappointed not to secure three points, it was a welcome return after missing the league opener due to family commitments.

Speaking after the game he said: "It's great to get back involved, as you can tell as I am hoarse!

"But I like being around the players and am looking forward to see how it goes this season."

Lloyd's first job will be to address the upcoming suspensions of first choice centre halves John McGrandles and Gary Coley.

He added: "Replacing John and Gary will be difficult, and it is certainly something to think about.
