DIVISION Three league champions Hatfield Sports rounded off their 2007-2008 season with a 3-1 defeat to Eight Bells in the semi-finals of the Chairman's Cup on Sunday.

Sports pushed WHSFL Division Two outfit Eight Bells all the way and the scoreline didn't totally reflect the game as a whole.

Despite the disappointing end to the season, managers Paul Evans Arthur Halsey and club secretary John Spavins would like to congratulate their players on what they have achieved this season.

They have won the WHSFL Division Three title, lost in the final of the Division Three League Cup and reached the semi-finals of the Chairman's Cup.

The Hatfield team also made the last 16 of the Herts FA Sunday Junior Cup this term.

The club is already planning for next season, hoping to keep most of the players from this term and add a few new faces.

Anyone wanting to sign for the club should contact the club. A link to the club's website can be found via the WHSFL website.
