BRADMORE Rovers Reserves finished their Welwyn Hatfield Sunday League campaign with a 4-2 victory against Beehive at the weekend to end the Division Three season in third place in the table.

After conceding a sloppy early goal, top scorer Paul Bedford charged down an attempted clearance from the Beehive keeper to equalise.

He put his side in front soon after when he converted a brilliant far post cross from Steve May.

Good work from Bembrick and May again enabled Bedford to complete his hat-trick just before half-time.

Bradmore failed to convert chances into goals and were rocked on the hour when Beehive pulled a goal back against the run of play.

However, an own goal from a Beehive defender pretty much finished the game as a contest 10 minutes later.

Bradmore player-manager Dan Wade and assistant Stuart Giddens were satisfied with a pretty good season.

Their team banked the Division Three Cup, but were slightly disappointed not to have mounted a stronger challenge in the league after a brief spell in top position around the New Year.
