SCHOLARS left back Nathan Smith has signed for League One outfit Yeovil Town.

Smith, who has been a fixture in the Potters Bar Town back four this season, agreed to the non-contract terms move on Sunday.

The 21-year-old defender made his first team league debut for the Glovers on Easter Monday as a second-half substitute in the 2-0 defeat at Hartlepool.

Smith had caught the eye at Parkfield this season with his performances as an attack-minded full-back.

After successfully coming through a trial at Huish Park, he has been rewarded with the chance to make it in the professional game.
