POTTERS Bar boss Steve Browne was left disappointed with just a point to show from two games over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

His Scholars' team drew 1-1 at Redbridge on Saturday and then lost 2-1 to Cheshunt at Parkfield on Monday.

Browne said: "One point out of six is not good enough.

"We are playing better stuff than last year and need to be more clinical in front of goal."

Browne, now in his second term in charge of Town, believes his side can improve on their position of 17th in the league last season.

He added: "I think we have better players than we had last year.

"I still think we will do a lot better than last year.
