Flanders Cup medals for Hatfield’s Brown and Hughes

Hatfield Swimming Club’s Adam Brown and Caleb Hughes won medals representing Great Britain at the Flanders Cup in Belgium.

Brown, who had travelled from his USA base for the meet in Antwerp at the end of January, won silver in the 100m freestyle clocking 22.71secs behind fellow Brit Ben Proud in 22.55secs.

Hughes scooped 1,500m freestyle bronze in a time of 15mins 46.59secs behind two other GB swimmers.

Nicholas Granger took gold in 15mins 10.60secs and Stephen Milne was second in 15mins 16.86secs.
