GRAHAM Fisher finished with bowling figures of 3-8 to guide Knebworth Park 3rds to victory against their Harpenden counterparts.

Jeremy Goodacre set the Park off to a powerful start with his usual forceful strokeplay in an innings of 35.

When he and Michael Carter fell in quick succession, Tom Eaton and Ian Pickering built on the foundation.

This was to be the nature of the innings and everyone took the opportunity to spend some time at the crease as the Park reached 197-8 from their 45 overs.

The Park made an early breakthrough through Jack Thorn with 2-4.

Young Tom Elliott bowled a very promising five-over spell and was rewarded when Ian Pickering held on to a good catch at square leg.

Tom Eaton got in on the act and then with Fisher's 3-8 the Harpenden wickets fell regularly as Park romped home.
