WORLD champion Lewis Hamilton

doesn't see himself challenging for a podium in the Spanish Grand Prix next month.

Despite finishing fourth in yesterday's Bahrain Grand Prix in the desert, the 24-year-old from Herts isn't expecting to be battling for a podium at the Circuit de Catalunya on May 10.

"The gap will be bigger when we go to Barcelona because it's a high-downforce circuit," said McLaren Mercedes F1 driver Lewis.

"We should challenge for the top 10 there, but another top-five will be harder."

Hamilton has claimed points from his last three races, but has yet to secure a podium finish.
