One of Brookmans Park Golf Club's major competitions of the year attracted big numbers to the fairways and greens.
Over 70 golfers competed in the 36-hole President’s Trophy with the fine weather in the morning giving way to showers in the afternoon.
It didn't dampen the competitive spirit of the golfers and with the course in excellent condition, there were plenty of impressive scores posted.
In the end there was only two shots separating the top three. Benjamin Spaul and Ian Calnan secured second and third place thanks to a superb total score of five-under-par for the two rounds.
Spaul took second on countback but they were unable to defeat Andrew Craig whose seven-under made him the clear winner.
Daniel Hobbs was the winner of the junior prize.
The prize-winning ceremony saw all receive their rewards from club president Jim Cameron with Craig being warmly congratulated by all club members as he received the trophy.
