THREE WGC Amateur Boxing Club fighters were in action at the Menzies Hotel and Golf Club in Cambridge on Sunday night.

The trio were all on the bill as part of an event to raise money for an injured boxer's charity.

Celebrities present on the evening included former super-middleweight champion Michael Watson.

In his 42nd bout, Ashley Dennis, 26, beat Chris Brown from the Chatteris Club, Cambridge, by a unanimous decision.

Taking part in his first fight, 18-year-old George Riley lost on a majority decision to Fulbourn Club boxer Rob Blackman.

Thirdly, fighter Dan Grimes, 26, was victorious against Carlos Vincencio from DC Boxing Academy Cambridge on a unanimous decision.
