Hatfield heavyweight Tom Little secured the first stoppage of his professional career on Saturday night.
The 6ft 6ins 27-year-old claimed a second round victory at Bethnal Green’s York Hall over Larry Olubamiwo on the Capital First show.
The referee halted the fight just moments after Little had put his opponent through the ropes at the iconic London sporting venue.
Little told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “It was a good second round knockout.
“The hard work is starting to pay off.”
Little, who is now trained by former British, Commonwealth and WBO Intercontinental champion Scott Welch, was rarely troubled in the encounter as he picked up his sixth professional victory from nine.
He has previously stated his desire to fight for the Southern Area title later in the year.
